Tina Copple, DNP, is a Family Nurse practitioner at the Diabetes & Glandular Disease Clinic in San Antonio, Texas, one of the largest clinics in the country. She is also a preceptor for the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. Ms. Copple received her DNP from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. She is an advanced practice registered nurse and a certified family nurse practitioner, and is certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center in Advanced Diabetes Management and Certified Diabetes Educator. In addition, she is certified as a Clinical Lipid Specialist by the National Lipid Association.
Ms. Copple is a member of the National Lipid Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, American Nurses Association, and the Texas Nurses Association. She coauthored an abstract published in Diabetes, lipid article (s) in the Nurse Practitioner, as well as several posters presentations.
She received America’s 2018 Top 10 Nurse Practitioner (ATPN) Award by Point of Care Network.
